Acceptable Use Policy

1Purpose & scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the Parsons platform and its products ("the Services") and to everything run on them. We built Parsons for people, businesses, and developers doing real work — not for spam, scams, or mass low-quality automation. This policy is how we keep it that way. It is part of, and supplements, our Terms of Service; where they overlap, both apply.

2Your responsibility

You are responsible for everything done through your account and for anything you build on the Services — your configurations, automations, bots, AI agents, and any apps you deploy — as well as for the people they contact or act on behalf of. If you let others use what you build, you are responsible for their compliance with this policy and for making them aware of it. Parsons provides the tools; you are the operator.

3Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services, or allow anything you build on them, to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• Access, collect, or use data you have no right to;
• Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• Deceive, defraud, harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm others;
• Distribute malware, or probe, breach, or circumvent security or access controls;
• Submit regulated data outside what the Terms allow;
• Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Services or the networks and platforms they connect to.

4Automations, bots & AI agents

You may build automations, scheduled jobs, bots, and AI agents on the Services. When you do:

• They must comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of every third-party platform they touch.
• You must make any legally required disclosures — including telling people they are interacting with AI where the law requires it, and obtaining any consent needed to record or contact them. Where we provide an AI-identity disclosure on an agent channel, you must not remove, obscure, or defeat it.
• You must not operate bots that deceptively impersonate a real person, generate spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or mass-produce high-volume, low-value content ("slop") that degrades the platforms you post to.
• You must respect the rate limits, automation rules, and API terms of every platform you connect.

5Messaging, calls & outreach

If you use the Services to send email or messages, place calls, or reach people on connected platforms:

• Only contact people who have given the consent the law requires, and honor opt-outs promptly — including STOP for messaging.
• Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, or harvested contact lists.
• For AI phone or voice outreach, obtain any consent the law requires before calling.
• For US SMS, complete carrier registration (A2P 10DLC) before sending; we may block sending until it is in place.
• Keep complaint, bounce, and block rates low. Sustained high rates — or messaging that harms the sending reputation shared by other customers — violate this policy and may be throttled or stopped automatically.

6Connected platforms

When you connect a third-party account — a social network, mailbox, phone carrier, or similar — you must follow that platform's own terms, automation rules, and rate limits. Using the Services to circumvent, overload, or violate a connected platform's rules is prohibited, and may cause us to disconnect the integration or suspend your account.

How we enforce this

We monitor for abuse and may act on it. Depending on severity, we may — in our sole discretion — warn you, throttle or pause an automation, require you to re-verify your identity or a connected account, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate your account. Higher automation limits may depend on completing identity or business verification. For unlawful use, or activity that threatens the Services, other users, or the platforms we connect to, we may act immediately and without notice. We reserve these rights but are not obligated to monitor, and acting on one violation does not waive our rights as to others.

Relationship to the Terms

This AUP is part of our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the more protective restriction applies. Definitions in the Terms carry over here.

Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP. Material changes will be communicated through the Services. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
